Lisle (pronounced "ly-le", with a silent S) is home to the Morton Arboretum and is known as the Arboretum Village.

The Village of Lisle is a wonderful place to live, work or visit.  From its humble beginnings as a rural Midwestern town, Lisle has evolved into a welcoming, business friendly community of more than 23,500 people, rich with resources.  In 2007, Lisle was named one of Money Magazine’s Top 20 “Best Places to Live” In America.   This recognition was based on the economic opportunity and quality of life that the Village offers to all.  I invite you to take a closer look at Lisle – a “Refreshingly Different” community.

Lisle is a great blend of the old and new and is known for its highly rated School Districts, Lisle Downtown, and Family safe Neighborhoods. Every Summer, Lisle hosts the "Eyes to the Skies Festival," one of the country's largest hot-air balloon festivals.

With neighborhoods like Arbor Ridge, Green Trails, Oak Hill and Oak Hill south to call home, Lisle is a very family oriented town and a place to be proud of.

Public Schools
Lisle is served by two public school districts: Lisle Community Unit School District 202 and Naperville 203. In addition to their high level of academic achievement, both districts were recently recognized nationally for providing quality education at a reasonable cost to the taxpayer.

Private Schools
Two highly regarded private schools,
Benet Academy (high school) and St. Joan of Arc School (elementary school), are also located in the Village of Lisle.
